OUR HISTORY
In 2017, Mercy Foundation was founded by Rev. Dr. Margaret Muchai with a clear vision of empowering women and girls, orphans, individuals affected by cerebral palsy and domestic abuse in Kenya. Rev. Dr. Muchai, who has spent her life advocating for marginalized and oppressed communities, recognized the need for a dedicated organization that could provide support, resources and opportunities to the most vulnerable members of the society. From its inception, Mercy Foundation has been committed to creating positive change and empowering women and girls to live fulfilling lives. Through a variety of programs, including education, counseling, shelter, rescue centers, life skills training, and providing vital resources such as sanitary pads and day cares, the foundation has impacted the lives of countless women and girls across Kenya. Since its founding in 2017, Mercy Foundation has made tremendous strides in promoting women's rights, providing a safe and supportive community, and improving the lives of those it serves. As the foundation looks to the future, it remains committed to building a better world, one empowered woman and girl at a time.
OUR MODEL
Mercy Foundation operates as a non-profit organization dedicated to providing essential services and resources to vulnerable communities in Kenya.
